Southport’s Chinatown is coming alive for the Mooncake Festival on Friday 25 September, and Australia Fair Metro is joining the celebrations!

Bring the family along for an evening filled with colour, culture, entertainment and plenty of fun.

Here’s what’s happening:

• 🦁 Lion Dancing – 4pm & 7pm
  Catch the spectacular Lion Dancing as it travels throughout Davidson Lane, Davenport Street and Australia Fair Metro.
• 🏮 Little Lantern Makers – 4pm–7pm
  Get creative with our FREE kids activity on the Ground Floor of Australia Fair Metro. Decorate, light up and take home your very own lantern.
• ✨ Laser Light Show – 6pm
  Watch Chinatown light up with a dazzling Laser Light Show.
• 🐵 Monkey Magic Roving Entertainment
  Keep an eye out for Monkey Magic roaming throughout the evening.
• 🎶 Live DJ Music
  Enjoy live DJ tunes adding to the festival atmosphere throughout the evening.
